❤🎙❤ NEWS – February Already? – Where Did January Go??!!

Wow!  Where did the month of January go?  Is it me, or does it seem that the UK weather just continues to get colder and colder, lol.  We are currently awaiting a deluge of snow here at Prickly Hedge, but so far we have avoided it.  Just had a socially distanced doorstep delivery (food) from our eldest son, it’s soo awful to have to keep him on the step and watch him dither, insisting he’s not cold.  We’re Skyping later, but nothing is quite the same as seeing him in person.  Hopefully, there’s light at the end of the tunnel this year.

We have Valentine’s Day to look forward to and we can all help spread some love on social media or through connecting with our loved ones.  It’s not a day for just partners, but for anyone who loves anyone.  We have a craft video coming up at the end of the week on making cards.  You can get a sneak preview of it here.

February is also the time for the hazel catkins to appear, not sure if we’ll get any at Prickly Hedge this year as other half has truly taken our tree to the hairdressers (lucky tree), so it’s looking a tad pollarded at the moment.

If you want to know how to identify hazel trees in Winter, you can check out our video here https://youtu.be/ZUZvKC1NhG8

You can also check out the latest environmental news straight from the likes of The Independent, Huffington Post and Greenpeace.

One of the weirder news items this week has been about cube-shaped poo from Wombats!  Yeah, you read that right.  You can check out the article here Check out latest news at https://www.yvonnejrichards.com/right-sidebar

Or watch the video in the article here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qWjLc7ez9lM&feature=youtu.be

So, let’s get crafting some lovely Valentine Cards for later in the month and see if you can identify any hazel trees as you go on your daily exercise walk.  If you do see any, drop a photo on our FB page /pricklyhedge or draw some and post them on the page, we’d love to see them.  If you do create some Valentine cards, snap a shot of those too and let us see what you’ve been up to this week.

Much love from me and all #TeamBubble here at Prickly Hedge
